The space
This is a place to escape, relax and reconnect. Casa Luna Beach House is a comfortable private home, great for couples, families or friends to hang out and enjoy. Open, airy, clean and fresh, you don’t need to go anywhere unless you want to! Steps from the beach with beach and sea views from the balcony. We have a small road between the house and the sand and sea!
The bedrooms have A/C. Two of our bedrooms can have either 1 king bed or 2 twin beds. The third bedroom has 2 queen beds. We’ve taken great care to design our furnishings and upholstery to be comfortable. Our beds and bedding are good quality, imported from Canada and a delight to sleep in. If you need to escape, rest, de-stress and connect with your people you’ve found the right listing.
Beach and sea views from our large balcony, steps to the beach! The breeze is fresh, soothing and calming. You are surrounded by jungle sounds, sea breezes and the sound of waves breaking on the beach right in front of the house. Our home was designed to be comfortable with modern conveniences and chic comfort mixed with a rich Costa Rican outdoor living lifestyle. Our downstairs pool deck is huge and partially covered (to offer you both sun and shade, with a hammock and ample seating, jungle gardens and the plunge pool. Our beach, Playa Negra is 22 km long and is never crowded. You can easily walk in to Puerto Viejo (just 20 minutes walk on the beach). Because we have so much vacation rental experience in Costa Rica and around the World we have combined all we have learned to create a super relaxing, comfortable space where everything has been thought of so you don’t have to worry about anything at all. If you want more, just let our house Manager know before you arrive or during your stay. We can arrange to have your fridge filled with your favourites before you arrive, private chefs, massage, transportation from San Jose to Puerto Viejo, car or bike rentals, trips and tours in Costa Rica or in the Puerto Viejo area, or local dinner reservations.
We have a small Market available just 2 minutes walk from the house at the lovely Hotel Banana Azul. It has fresh baked goods, coffee, liquor, beer, wine and whatever else you may need. Be sure to have some meals at Hotel Banana Azul Restaurant or at their Beach Club where there is full food & drink service and is a lovely place to spend the day on the beach.
The town of Puerto Viejo is close with a lively Caribbean vibe, grocery shops, liquor stores, great shops, coffee shops, bars and amazing restaurants. You will have access to everything quickly and easily. Walk, ride bikes, rent a car, get a taxi or take the public bus. There are lots of easy ways to get around town.
